Friday night we took Brynlee down to the Tonganoxie Spooktackular with some friends. The grade school opens up as well as all of the downtown business for kids to trick or treat. She wasn't really sure what to think of everyone in their costumes, but stayed pretty content riding around in her stroller.

Saturday Brynlee and I started our "Baby and Me" Aquatic class. Using a 20lb - 8 month old as your resistant weight is quite the work out! It was a win - win for us: I got a great workout, Brynlee loved splashing and playing in the pool. After lunch we carved 2 of our 3 pumpkins. I was pretty impressed that she sat on the kitchen floor the whole time with us without fussing.

So not Halloween related, but Brynlee has been scooting all around the house the past couple of weeks. She's becoming quite adventurous, and decided the coffee table would make a nice jungle gym.
Finally, that brings us to tonight; Halloween night. I love Halloween and having kids come trick or treat. Fully prepared with a plastic pumpkin full of candy and a note pad to keep track of kids, we patiently waited for kids to come. At the end of it all, we had eight... eight kids, its sad. Living on a dead end street usually has its advantages, tonight however it was a huge disadvantage. We did get some cute picture of Brynlee and the dogs in costume before it got dark out.

Happy Halloween from the little black cat!
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
She looks so stinking cute! Aspen did the same thing with our coffee table - wait another month or so and she'll be pulling her little self up on it!
