In less than two weeks, Brynlee will be 15 months old. Miss Brynlee is walking everywhere, and getting into everything. She has figured out which doors/drawers don't have the locks on them in the kitchen. We'll find ice cube trays, kitchen towels, and other random things all over the floor. We have the Fridge Phonix alphabet and only started with A-D out, but she managed to find the other letters in the drawer and now we have to keep track of all 26 daily.
She's becoming quite the chatterbox, granted most of the time she's telling us stories that we can't understand. Making the list of understandable words are: Mama, Dada, Nana, and Daisy (Nana's dog). If you ask her what a cow says, she'll Moo; Ask her what a duck says, she'll quack.
A couple of weekends I learned that she is a good little helper. After changing her diaper, i'll hand it to her and ask her to throw it in the trash. She'll walk straight out of the room and go throw it into the laundry room trash. Also, if you ask her to put her clothes in the hamper, she'll go put them up for you.
Brynlee knows to clap for "If you're happy and you know it" and she can also do the wheels for "Wheels on the Bus". She can also put her shapes into the sorter toy. Sometimes it takes a little direction on which shape goes where, but she can figue out how to rotate it to get it in the bin. Makes me one proud Mama to see how much she is learning and figuring out!
Ok, now for the fun part: Pictures.
We started off our Memorial weekend with a trip out to Brynlee's Great Grandma & Grandpa's farm. When i pulled up, i saw the haybales from the brome field being recently cut and just had to get a picture of her on a haybale. There are numerous pictures of me, my brother and my cousins on the haybales growing up.

She wasn't sure about the texture of the hay!
Our next farm adventure of the weekend was to DeAnna Rose Children's Farmstead in Overland Park. Brynlee loved seeing and petting all of the animals. She only got upset once, and that was when we were trying to give the baby goats the bottles, and she wanted it!
She loved petting the baby cow. I'd get her to start walking away and she'd turn right around and go back to it!
